I know what your thinking, how obvious is that, of course i know exercise is important. But do you really understand how important exercise is for you. If you don’t know, it only means you have been doing all the wrong things all these years and your should maybe think about changing your ways. A lack of exercise and result in you muscles becoming flabby and weak. While your heart and lungs may fail to function properly in later life. What you don’t now is that, you can even afford to eat many of the wrong foods if your are exercising frequently.
The importance of exercise could take over 700 pages to highlight – for one i don’t have the time you write that much and two you don’t have the time to read. You would be better off spending a few hours a week exercising and 10 minutes reading about it rather than the other way round. So all we are going to look at in this article is a few of the major points regarding exercise and the benefits exercise can have on your body.
Disease Prevention
Regular exercise is vital for physical fitness and good health. It cut downs significantly, the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure. It also promotes longevity, your will feel younger at a later age. People who exercise more are also less likely to suffer from minor illnesses such as colds or flu.
Improvement In Stamina & Physical Endurance
When you exercise the body builds up strength gradually each day and as time goes by you will become stronger and better able to work under pressure or deal with stress – both at home or at work. Your anaerobic levels improve and if you are running will notice that as you become fitter you will want to carry on longer than offer and your will to suceed will get stronger.
Aerobic exercise involves continuous and rhythmic physical movement, such as running at a steady pace or cycling, you will also get benefits even by walking at a brisk pace. How will this affect the heart then? The heart develops and become accustomed to handling higher metabolic demands of the body and so even when you exercise for unusually longer periods, you do not get tired because your heart will still be able to cope with the higher demand you place on yourself.
Muscles Strength
Exercising with weights causes muscles hypertrophy. That is, the muscles will grow, causing small tares, then will then heal up bigger than before and become stronger. This improves your strength and even makes your grip much firmer. Your posture will also be improved if you exercise the core of your body – which will also results in your body appearing and feeling more toned
Flexibility
As you exercise it makes a lot of sense to practice a variety of exercises as different forms of exercise will benefit you in different ways. Stretching exercises are also important because it helps to circulate lubricants in the joints adequately and can prevent injuries.
Weight Loss
As you must have heard before, if you want to lose weight quickly or in the most effective way you need to combine a healthy diet with exercise. It is improper to try to loss weight on diet alone and also very hard to do – although not impossible. Exercise is responsible for burning your excess body fat to convert into energy. Exercise is also a key to weight control because it burns calories that you will consume during the day. If you burn off more calories than you take in, you lose weight – its as simple as that. So logically if you consume less and burn up more than you normally do, you will get back in space faster.
